Puppy Home Visits
It can be very daunting bringing home a small puppy for the first time. Our puppy home visits are designed to give you guidance and support, especially during the time before your puppy is fully protected and allowed to 'hit the ground' outside in the big wide world.
Your puppy is learning all the time. Rather than feeling imprisoned at home, look upon the early few weeks as an excellent opportunity to get some good basic training in.
Whilst your puppy may not be allowed to walk in public areas until he is fully protected (your vet will advise), we recommend you take your puppy out with you as much as possible to experience the sights and sounds of the community he is soon to become a part of. Carry your pup or pop him into a rucksack worn in front of you with the front folded down so that he can see.
What to expect:
We will visit you at home at a mutually convenient time, meet your puppy and help you with any concerns you may have.
Common issues are:
Biting and chewing
Night time waking
We will tailor the session to your needs, provide a written report and phone / email advice for two weeks. Please allow 90 minutes for this visit.
Some families have booked a Puppy Home Visit for before the arrival of their new puppy. We can advise on how to prepare for your new arrival. Please contact us for more details.
